1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the domestic help and care services offered by Rumila Enterprises (“we”, “us”, “our”) through our website, phone calls, and other communication channels. By using our services, you fully accept and agree to these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies posted. We strictly adhere to the rules and guidelines set forth by the Delhi government and ensure that our staff is police-verified, experienced, and trustworthy.
2. Services Provided
We offer a comprehensive range of domestic help services, including housekeeping, cooking, babysitting, patient care, nursing, and Japa services. These services are strictly intended for families and are not available for single individuals living alone.
3. Registration Fee
All clients are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹2000 per candidate to initiate the onboarding process and verification of domestic staff.
4. Trial Period & Service Charges
A 5-day trial period is provided to allow mutual assessment between the client and the domestic helper. During this period, the client must pay the helper directly, calculated by dividing the agreed monthly salary by 30. Payments can be made daily or at the end of the trial period. Clients must inform Rumila Enterprises once the payment has been made. If the client decides to continue with the domestic helper after the trial, the full service charge is immediately due and payable. The service charge is fixed and not adjustable based on client satisfaction after the trial period.
5. Service Duration
Service agreements are available in three durations: 3 months, 6 months, or 11 months. The service charge is based strictly on the selected period, and there is no guarantee of continuation beyond the agreed term.
6. Salary Terms
The salary of domestic helpers is not fixed for the entire service duration. It may increase or decrease depending on the skills and experience of the helper, especially in cases of requested replacements.
7. Replacements & Refunds
- Rumila Enterprises provides the following replacement options:
- No replacement for 3-month contracts.
- 1 replacement for 6-month contracts.
- 2 replacements for 11-month contracts.
- Replacements will be provided within 10 days. If the client remains unsatisfied after the allocated replacements, or if the service is cancelled, 50% of the service charge will be refunded, based on the number of months worked. The registration fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
8. Renewal
Renewal of the service is mandatory at the end of the agreed term and must be processed exclusively through Rumila Enterprises. Clients are not permitted to continue employing the domestic helper beyond the agreed term without a formal renewal agreement. Any attempt by the client to retain the helper directly, without proper renewal and payment of the service charge, will be considered a breach of contract and may lead to legal action. Renewal terms and service charges will be discussed and must be paid in full before the start of the renewed term.
9. Cancellation Policy
If you decide to terminate the agreement within 3 months of service commencement, 50% of the service charge will be deducted and the remaining amount will be refunded within 7 days via bank transfer or UPI. This ensures fairness for both parties.
10. Client Conduct
We expect clients to treat domestic helpers with dignity and respect at all times. Any form of physical, mental, or verbal harassment will result in immediate termination of services without refund, as we prioritize the well-being and safety of our staff.
11. Salary Payment
- All salaries must be paid to the helper by the 10th of every month without delay. You must notify Rumila Enterprises upon payment for record-keeping and compliance.
- Advance salary payments should not be made without explicit approval from the office. Any unauthorized payments are the sole responsibility of the client.
12. Leave Policy
- The domestic helper is entitled to 2 days of paid leave every month. If the client does not allow the leave, they must compensate the helper with an amount equivalent to 2 days' salary for that month.
- If the domestic helper chooses not to take leave monthly, the leave days can be accumulated and used later within the contract period. All accumulated leave must be used before the end of the contract.
13. Labour Policy
We strictly do not engage in or support any form of forced or child labor. All helpers are hired voluntarily and are treated with respect and dignity in line with the labor laws of India.
14. Candidate Information
Upon confirmation, clients will receive all necessary candidate documents, including resumes, photos, government-issued IDs, and police verification reports. If you choose to conduct an independent police verification, it is entirely your responsibility.
15. Basic Needs
Clients are expected to treat domestic helpers as family members, ensuring their basic needs like food, proper lodging, medical assistance, and rest are met. This fosters a supportive and harmonious work environment.
16. Legal Jurisdiction
Any legal disputes, claims, or concerns related to our services will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Delhi courts, ensuring fair and transparent resolutions in line with Indian law.
17. Conveyance Charges
For all deployments within Delhi/NCR, a conveyance fee of ₹500 applies. If a replacement is required, the client must cover the conveyance cost to ensure timely deployment.
18. Commission Payment
- Clients must verify all commission payments directly with Rumila Enterprises to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- A formal receipt must be obtained for every commission payment to avoid any disputes or miscommunications.
